Lost a Cousin Today...

37 years old.

Heart attack. Just like that. Kids are 9 and 7, respectively.

Wife and mother are just devastated.

I'm setting up a trust fund for the kids, and my sis and mom are leaving to be with the family.

I don't know what else to do...

At times like this, I really wish I believed in God, an afterlife, something...ya know?

I've been sort of in a daze since yesterday, but knowing that there are folks out there who care and who have dealt with death in the past takes a load off my mind. Ashi, my cousin, and I in part grew up together when were young...and he is the closest person to me to ever have passed away...so these are very new feelings for me...and of course, tremendously uncomfortable. I don't know how to deal with them.

None of you had to respond to my loss, but you did. That action alone speaks volumes to the character of friendship on this forum...and to the character of its members.

Even though sometimes we bicker and butt heads here, we truly are a family.
