Yeah, I just heard this as well. I was listening to a sports talk radio station here in Philly and they were actually discussing it. Very sad news to hear. 58 is way too young. Macho Man was always one of my favorites as well, back when I started watching pro wrestling. They don't make em like Randy Savage anymore.

R.I.P. Macho.

his brother Leapin Lanny Poffo is reporting he had a heart attack while driving jeep wrangler

As an aside...there is a horse running in the Preakness this Saturday named "Mucho Macho Man". Makes ya think, huh? :hmm:

Bet the house on him for Macho.

They were discussing this on my local sports station as well. Such a sad day. Savage was one of the greatest of all-time... and like Rob metioned, it feels like a little piece of my youth went with him today. Rest in peace, Macho Man. You are sorely missed.

Hulk Hogan said he had recent contact with him after not speaking for ten years

It will be interesting to see if the WWE will have a small video tribute to him on Smackdown tonight.

Will Macho Man finally be inducted into WWE Hall of fame ??

yeah reports he lost control for some unknown reason his wife was in the car went over the median and smacked a tree

R.I.P. Macho man. Always enjoyed your persona and your creativity in the ring.

He was a great wrestler and managed to be funny at the same time. He will be sorely missed! R.I.P Macho Man!

Macho Man was of an era that I didn't get to see but he is one of my all-time favorites. I love the Macho Man. It's unfortunate that his relationship with the company that he helped to build went the way it did.

Kind of devastated right now, my childhood is all blown up in my face. I hope Vince can drop his petty political shit against Randy now and just induct him in the Hall of Fame. Their personal beef has gone on far too long.

R.I.P. Randy

During the mid 80's I was a huge Randy Savage & Miss Elizabeth fan. Now they can be together again in Pro Wrestling Heaven. Today pro wrestling has lost another great legend.

One of my earliest memories relating to WWF was Savage winning the title in the tournament at WrestleMania IV. He was one of the greats. In terms of the expansion of pro wrestling and the spread of its popularity beyond regional bases, Hulk Hogan may have been the equivalent of The Beatles, but Savage was definitely the equivalent of The Rolling Stones.

i always loved the macho man, he had several moments in the wwf/wcw that i will never forget and he is one of my all time favorites, its a shame wwe never put him into the hall of fame, as it will feel cheapened now and it will feel like they did it because of the death not for what he deserved for his contributions to the buisness. RIP Macho Man OOOOOHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAA

While Savage's death is sad (and like Ace I feel a part of my childhood has been taken from me), Lance Kurtis McNaught's death (aka Lance Cade) was far more tragic. Randy left a legacy, while Lance, at the age of 29, only left two young daughters fatherless. If there is any positives to this, at least now maybe Randy and Liz will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame together.

I wonder when that will happen for Lance McNaught? Probably never.

RIP Randy Poffo, thanks for the ride.

SNAP INTO IT!
