Making Safe Words Fun

Hi everyone,

It occured to a friend and I tonight that this topic hasn't been discussed much. I'm curious, for folks who DO make use of safe words in a session (I mean really, all of us have gotta have a limit at some point, lol).... what kind of words do you use? Are there ways of making the safeword a part of the fun, even if that means the fun has to stop for a bit?

Yes. If I know them well I will pick words or phrases that would be difficult to say while laughing. Stuff like "hippopotamus", "xylephone" or "tickle torture terminate" or whatever. The catch is the must say it clearly. That's an interesting struggle to witness on occasion. 🙂

Lazzy and I nearly always come up with safewords that the other TRULY will NOT want to say, thereby putting us in a really 'ticklish' situation. With him being a die hard Bears fan, and I a die hard Packers fan, we've had lots of fun making one another denounce our favorite team and claim greatness of the competitor.

My favorite, though, was when I got Lazzy to scream that he was his little brothers "dirty little bitch". Any fellas here who have that older brother who lives to bully and harass younger brother relationship with their younger siblings will understand the outright foulness of such a safeword. *evil laugh*

One interesting way to make safewords a part of the play is interrogation. The "safe signal" is disclosing some bit of information that the 'ler wants to get and the 'lee wants to keep. In a scene like that getting to the "stop" signal is the whole point.
