More male tickle lovers than female tickle lovers? Why?

Forgive me if this topic has been addressed already.

It is readily apparent that there are far more males on this site than there are females. But not all tickle lovers are fortunate to find this wonderful place called the TMF. So in the general population are there more male tickle lovers than female tickle lovers? If there is a disparity in the numbers....why is there one? What are your theories on this tickle lovers? ;o)

On the other hand, since women's sexuality is a more fluid thing than men's, many a woman will indulge the man she's sleeping with by engaging in a specific sexual act he enjoys, finding excitement in his excitement, but not taking that specific turn-on into her next relationship.

Foot fetish is not just about visual stimulation. And even so, how much time and money do women in general spend on pedicures, foot spas, shoes, ect, whether men find them attractive or not?

I believe throughout various cultures and history women have been brought up to just "sit there and take it" rather than being encouraged to pursue their own areas of interest in sexuality/sensuality. When the women's lib movement emerged in recent times, they sadly adopted the "sex-negative" outlook of conservative groups and began identifying things like porno and fetishes as male exploitation and objectification of women. To sum it up, men have had centuries to explore various things that excited them while women have only had the last 40 or so years to explore all the while being told by their fellow females, "Eww! Only men are into that!"

I don't quite know why, but my experience has been that of what Libertine and TickleToy4You have expressed. Those who have indulged me in my fetish, have done so out of seeing the enjoyment I get and subsequently they reap the benefits. And yes, I doubt any carried these activities into their next relationships, although one may now be inclined to find a guy with a foot fetish. As for what TT4Y said, I have a friend who I introduced to the tickling world. I suspect that if you looked at the entire population, either there would be no gender imbalance or the imbalance would be much less.

This. I signed up and left for a year before I felt comfortable enough to come back and actively post. Creepy stuff still happens, but now I don't care...enough of the rest of the community is cool, so it far outweighs the negative. But that is a very good point 🙂.
