I don't like having nuts in my ice cream, so that rules out Pralines & Cream, and just about any other ice cream with nuts in it.

On a weird note, I've went to a Teppenyaki place by me, and had some Green Tea ice cream. It tastes weird at first, and is a little difficult to get used to, but it's pretty good.

Also, I just ate at this Brewery restaurant in Florida called Saint Sebastian's. They had beer-flavored ice cream on the menu. I was too reluctant to try that one, though. Anyone had beer-flavored ice cream before? Is it everything you could possibly expect from ice cream that's supposed to taste like beer?

The absolute grossest ice cream I ever saw was in Maine about 7 years ago:

Lobster ice cream!


This was just vanilla ice cream with real chunks of lobster in it.

BLECH! I'm with you, ASU! We have an old fashioned ice cream parlor and factory here where I live (and their overall product is superb), but once in a while they feature a flavor called "Bubble Gum" and it's exactly as you've described. Even KIDS won't touch that stuff. It is NAAAAS - TAY!

Another flavor they feature almost daily is what they affectionately call "Rainbow". Nothing rainbow about it. It merely consists of all the flavors they had left over the day before, all mixed together and thrown into one single tub. No wonder they sell cones of rainbow flavor for 1 cent when you buy another cone....lol

i really haven't found a disgusting ice cream flavor...yet. there is a place or used to be a place in buffalo that would make interesting flavors for April Fool's Day...like that Lobster Ice Cream Drew mentioned...or i think one was hot pepper ice cream, then there was peanut butter and pickles...just really odd flavors...and i think if the patrons tried it they got a free regular ice cream..i can't remember.

I'm with zod. I don't like coffee. So, any coffee flavor at all kills an icecream for me....no matter how good the other ingredients are. I tried one in Wildwood a few years back that was salt water taffy. It was basicly what the bubble gum was describe as...and equally as bad....esp. since there were different flavors of taffy in it. Other than those, there aren't many that I actually dislike, though I have to be in the mood for some of the minty or overly sweet ones.

Fudge and nuts will suit me just fine.

I don't like regular ice cream with nuts in them. also, anything that is marked "sugar free" ot "fat free" yuk. Where is the flavor in that??

My favorite is chocolate fudge or cookies and cream (choc or vinilla).

Well, since you asked...

Any ice cream that, as stated before, kiddie flavored like that nasty kid's toothpaste- bubble gum, cotton candy, nerds, etc...- also any peanut butter ice cream, or coffee flavored ice cream is nasty...

Happy with a simple French or New York Vanilla, or a good deep rich chocolate....

Superman ice cream is alright too, I suppose...

Red, blue and yellow ice cream, but is sweet flavored, kinda like a French Vanilla....

And you can never go wrong with a chocolate-chip mint....

My father made us taste rum flavored ice cream to deter us from drinking when we were older. (GROSS!)

LOL I think my oldest sister finished it. Is it fair to say he turned her on to drinking? Heehee

I guess that was a cruel thing to say. In fact two of my sisters drink like fish... One tries and can't get past the first glass.
