It's great to see folks already making friends and plans! I'll be adding other sightseeing targets to the information you were sent as we go along. There's definately no lack of things to see and do. Everyone will also be getting information packets when you check in with us on arrival. They'll be filled with much of the same information you've already seen and some other goodies as well. 
We already have a couple folks who've taken advantage of this. But, I'll mention again here that you are always welcome to double up in hotel rooms to share costs. Anyone interested in doing so can contact me and I'll help you find someone. Of course, if you know someone well enough to be comfy in asking them yourself, that's cool too.

I decided to stop lurking for a second and introduce myself...
Hi, my nickname's Edi (Pronounced Eddy, Eddie, or any of its alterations) and I am a 19-year old college student in Virginia, but am originally from Lima, Peru (South America for those of you who need a map).
This will my first NEST and the first time I am ever in the same building with others that share this interest in tickling (to the best of my knowledge). Hence, I am fairly nervous and at the same time excited to get to meet all of you guys and gals and be able to have a few sane and healthy discussions.
I have ample experience in tickling and a bit in being tickled, bondage and all (basics...under the bed systems and bondage tape). I am a switch and love to receive as much as I give, although I have yet to meet anyone who can truly tickle me to the level I would wish...perhaps I am not as ticklish as I would like or have yet to meet a good enough female tickler...
My real purpose in going to this gathering is to make new friends and meet others with similar interests 🙂. Any playtime is mostly a bonus really and that I imagine will come with making friendships and acquaintances.
I am a Jazz Player, performing mainly on the Tenor Saxophone, but very proficient on the Baritone, Soprano, Alto saxophones and the Clarinet. I love to improvise and play all kinds of music and even compose a tune or two.
I am a PC Gamer and love real time strategies and simple but competitive games such as air hockey and ping pong, as well as real sports such as racquetball.
I am also a member of the Tickle Theater under this same screen name (Chaneda), and some of you may recognize me as the author of a post in which I tell of my tickle experiments (in as much detail as possible) over the course of some time in order to work on a scientific publication which I am still writing. I hoping to be able to get more data from NEST (if possible...everyone's anonymous) so as to continue with this ongoing work.
I also love board games and I love to play Texas Hold-Em Poker...so if anyone's up for that I'm in.
This is becoming a tad bit long methinks...

I'm lite, married to kwildoctr, and this will be our fifth trip to NEST since 2002 (we were unable to attend in 2003). We've also attended 1 SBG, 1 Southern, 1 NYST, and 1 CAT Gathering. We met in the TMF chatroom; kwil was living in Buffalo, NY, and I was in Virginia. He moved to Virginia in 2002, and we were married last year in September.
As others have mentioned, we usually enjoy the social aspects of NEST more so than the actual play; this isn't because we don't enjoy playing (well, f**king duh!), but rather that we miss our extended NEST family and it's a great time to become reacquainted.
I'm a switch, though I usually seem to end up being a 'lee; kwil is strictly a 'ler. I have 4 tattoos that, for some unknown reason, seem to be ticklish. I'm an editor by profession, a poet and writer by calling, and I don't think that it would be accurate to call myself shy. I also make jewelry as a hobby for now; I hope to turn that into a part-time business next year.
kwil is a musician by calling, a wicked 'ler, and something of a saint for putting up with me.
We're looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones; there are some people we've known only from the chatroom (AVENGER!!!!! AZRAEL!!!!!), and it will be great to say hello in person. If any new attendees have any questions about what goes on at NEST, feel free to PM me. We'll be in Philly from Thursday through Tuesday, so we'll be able to get together with people before the official festivities begin.
Oh, and if you're new, I'm innocent.

Look for the guy dressed all in black, short brown hair, brown eyes, sticking out like a sore thumb as he tries to avoid doing so by intently studying those things that nobody ever looks at (during college orientation, I studied the 'where are they now?' wall of recent alumni for a good 45 minutes).
