Lol, oh my. This thread has turned into a shit storm.

But I do have to reiterate: Being funny - yer doin' it wrong, d00d. Next time you want to know "how many people are going" (which still seems a bit dubious to me, my good sir), you should probably leave out all of the hilarity about hawt chix 'n shit...and you should certainly not carry on said "joke" like you did.

Good, so you were there in 2008. Just checking... it's hard to know sometimes when someone attends an event but doesn't mention anything about it online afterwards.

And Mr. Desired... you will be far more so when you stop calling the NEST ladies ugly and fat...some people are a bit touchy about that. Funny old world, isn't it?

Of course, your opinion of the ladies of NEST is quite immaterial to me, since I'm not, nor have I been since I joined the TMF, in the "pool" of available play partners as far as guys are concerned. My only concern is that everyone at the event has fun and enjoys themselves, and you'd probably have more fun if you went again, now that you know more people from here.

And folks, I know, I KNOW... do not feed the trolls. BAD Kitten.
 
Nest 2008. One guy at the venue was so nervous that he quietly drank himself into a stupour (KT asks me to point our that I'm not illiterate, that's the English spelling and that's where I'm writing this) in a corner and had to be helped outside for some fresh air by two of the DMs. I don't recall seeing him at NEST 2009. If he's thinking of attending this year, and is reading this, I hope he's a little more abstemious.

I do not remember who that person was, nor am I in any way accusing the OP of being that person. Just a reminder to all not to overindulge in anything intoxicating.
 
Steve57, the most unfortunate part of this thread is where you slam women, in general, at the largest gathering in our interest. There is no larger event. There are no women who will appreciate your approach towards them as a group.

When one women finds a large number of women responding poorly to your behaviors here, they are far more likely to join that majority.

Odd, too, as Jersey's just across the river from Philly. There's no closer event for you. Young as you are, burning this bridge so thoroughly is... odd.

Oh, as for Artoo, he didn't state whether his laughter was for you or at you. His silence, thus, is louder than bombs. Given your support, here, out of tens of thousands of members, I'm not certain I believe you'l find anyone thinking your posts in this thread were in any way a positive thing.

I hope you figure out where you're shooting yourself in the foot, here, and choose a different approach. This one's not going to go well.

Good - maybe you can go spend more time with you like-minded Jerseyans Snookie and The Situation - you seem to be on the same intellectual playing field, so you'd fit in much better there than with the fine folks at NEST.

Without practicing respect for others, expecting attention and interaction with them is a fool's game. Whether man or woman, no one likes to be talked down to or treated as if they were an object. Be good to your fellows, and they will be good to you.

To the rest, responding to unkindness in-kind does no one a service, not the least yourself. Be instead constructive in your replies that you might inspire improvement rather than incite argument.

Let us all learn something from this; thread closed.
