That's the ugly truth about moderated forums. People get banned, and most often nobody knows why. In fact threads like this that discuss such things are discouraged, which I also find curious. I'm all for defending a forum against spam, but deleting comments, locking threads, and banning regular members...that seems a little extreme to me. But it seems to work for most of the people here, so we get what we ask for.

Trulyulyuly! When I first climbed online afew years ago, I had not even been to the TMF, and someone at a message board about bad movies mentioned "Flames". I looked it up in a search engine, and some of the very top-most items were pertaining to that Terry DeSistro-person, and their scary campaigns to wreck the lives of people he/she had met online via early tickling communities on the Web...i.e.-Flaming in the worst possible way.

I think it was only then that it dawned on me that I could look up tickling as a search phrase and see what would come of it.

Speaking of the missing: Where is Areenactor? Last I heard, he had gone overseas to one of the Middle Eastern hotspots. Then, I heard that he was back Stateside, safe and sound, only to wind-up in an auto accident(?). Any news about him?
