Hey folks,

I'll keep it short and sweet.

It's been a great many years in this community. I was just remembering back to the late 90's when I first bumped into a few of you...and then my first gathering...and hosting those that followed over the years....and all the good times since. Memories. Damn fine things. Everyone should have a few good ones.

But, there always comes a time to say goodbye, and looks like mine is here.

Medical problems that I once fought and beat are back again...and I'm not sure I'll win this round. Docs don't like to tell you to get your affairs in order, but when they hint at it, you take notice. Got some news that I didn't want, and now I have to pay attention to some other less laughable things.

So, there it is.

Y'all know my emails. And those with my numbers, I ask you to refrain from using them as I will be spending time with my kids, and to be honest, I'd rather not have it interrupted. I can check email when they're sleeping.

Love well in your lives, and take of each other.

Oh, dear. I don't know you, JoBelle, but this is hard news for anyone. Fight the good fight, and if you can, let us know.

we have never talked but as a member of this community and dare I say a friend, I am deeply saddend about your condition.
I completely and 100% understand your decision to want to spend time with your children as you maintain what strength you have left.
I dont have your email, but feel free to email me.
You have been through so much in the last year, I dont know if I could handle it but you have with grace and love.
I hope you can beat this thing again, and youll be able to come back again.
You will remain in my thoughts, as I hope but only the best for you.

I never got to know you, but you are in my prayers. May god hold you and protect you, and eventually I hope to see you on the other side.
 
We have never spoken, but I would like to express my sorrow at seeing you leave under such conditions. I wish you all the best and hope that the future holds much love for you and your family. It is perfectly understandable that your focus is turning toward yourself and your kids and sincerely hope that someday, we shall see you on here again. Best of luck. :redheart:

Jobelle, I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. In all the time I've been here, we've chatted once or twice, but I've always seen you in threads.

I'm so terribly saddened to hear that you're leaving, but much more so that you're once again fighting this battle.

It is my profound wish that the power of your human spirit supersedes any notion of finality. You will twice be the victor, and I look forward to the celebration of your return.

My thoughts and my heart is with you. Stay strong.

Drew just woke me with this news. Joby, I'm so sorry! You and your family have already been through so much. Now this. We all know you're a fighter. So, if it's not your time yet, I know you'll pull through. But, if He's getting set to call you home to Him, I hope you can take comfort that He'll be watching out for the rest of the family.

I want to pray that you'll get well quickly and come back to us. But, that's MY will. I WILL pray that His will be done, since that will be the best for all. I won't write now since I'm sure your mailbox will fill up quickly enough. But, know that you can write or call any time...whether it's just to vent or if there's any way we can help. You know where to find us.

I am very sorry to hear you got a bad medical report, but there's a part of me that isn't worried in the least. You are one feisty chick and I know you won't let something like cancer get the best of you. I know you will fight with every ounce of strength that God gives you. You will fight the good fight and I wish you the very best as well as your family.

Remember, you beat Katrina and if the opportunity presents itself, you'll beat this too!

Now go and give 'em hell and I hope to hear from you soon.

I for one consider you a great friend, and it saddens me to hear you leaving. But I know you will win this fight because you are a fighter, and this is just another mountain thru faith will be able to move. Keep God first and you will get thru this. It is HIS will and not ours alone, and thru prayer he will see you thru

My heart breaks as I read this. My mother had cancer in '94 and they gave her six months to live. That was 12 years ago almost. I pray that you will overcome this. I pray that God will give you the strength to keep fighting. We have chatted before on different threads and while I don't know you well, I know you can and will fight this. In the meantime, revel in the simple things in life and cherish each memory. Your family will be stronger for it. Keep the faith and Never give up.

Sorry to hear that. Just make sure you keep fighting as hard as possible, so you can spend as much time with your loved ones as possible. Just don't give up. You said you beat the problems before, so it's possible that you can beat them again.
