Nudity in the Magic Touch Banner Ad: this bother anybody else?

Nudity on the TMF: no steadfast rule, but it seems that common courtesy and general practice has been to forewarn people in the title of a thread that nudity will follow. This is because not everyone wants to see a nude person when they open a new page.

This would seem to apply to having a nudity in the Banner Ad which is at the top of nearly every page while browsing the TMF. I know most people would not think twice to complain about having Addie Juniper's cute perky little breasts in your face, but could you imagine how people would freak out if it was guy's dangling man-junk on the banner ad. That said, I would like to see the Banner edited to be nudity free and for all future advertisements on the TMF to be free of nudity. Yes, the TMF is a marketplace for pornography, but we can at least be classy about it.

I understand what u r sayng, but I don't believe its a real big deal. From a guys perspective, its one of the things I like to see in vid advertisements. Its not a problem with me, but I guess it may be for others. Im sure the one who make the banner had no intention of causing problems or controversy. I supose if it bothers a large number of people it should be edited, but for now just let it be. Plus, i think its good advertisement for Magic Touch vids. Its a general popilation vote of opinion. I say leave it as it is.

I don't particularly like seeing naked girls either, but I also wouldn't call out the MTP banner, because there are plenty of other banners on the left side of the forum with nude girls. People pay money to have ads here, and that's what supports the costs of running the TMF. Nude sells. You want a free forum? Then unfortunately, we have to deal with some nudity.

I agree with jk. This site is for people over 18 and, as you said, contains pornography. There is only a small part of the banner that actually contains nudity that you basically have to seek out in order to find it and actually be offended by it. I have no issue with it.

We all know what this is. We have, or should have read this disclaimer before registering for this forum. It is "assumed" that we are all of adult age. It should also be assumed that the media type material on this forum could be of an adult nature. That includes the advertising. Advertising is media, and often advertising pays the bills for what we use here free of charge.

Isn't the disclaimer a warning? Don't we see this every time we enter the forum?

Yes it is understandable that nudity may be offensive to some, or that some may not want to see it. On a media forum that in its disclaimer states what might be seen may be of adult nature, I do not quite understand what else should be expected.

Now, I agree, I would rather not see a "guy's dangling man junk" in an ad, but if I was warned of the adult nature of the site, knowingly registered anyway, and continued coming to this forum, then my choice to stay means I could possibly see some nudity. Open entering, I choose to deal with it, even if that something could turn my stomach and cause me to lose my lunch.

I would rather not see some nudity. Classy is very objective. I think the ad is pretty tasteful. At least it isn't as annoying as that old Ryan ad with the tongue flying out at you. Bet you I kept coming to the forum though... no matter how irritating it was. LOL

This is in essence a porn site. There are occasionally naked women on the side bar on the left of your screen as well.

My suggestion? Leave the site for a while. I bet in a month there will be something else in it's place.

I would guess if it really bothered enough people there would be nothing wrong with a disclaimer, most adult sites do seem to have them. But I think most of us are now so use to it we don't really notice.

i suppose the nudity might be an issue if one was posting from work....but then i remembered that this is a tickling site.

The TMF may have originated as an adult fetish site but nowadays a lot of members treat tickling as more of a general interest than a fetish. Plastering some boobs up top could possibly ruin the casual atmosphere for people who stay away from those particular subforums.

Though I long ago adblocked any image or flash with "mtp" in the link, so I haven't even seen the banner.

Now, now, now everybody, give the guy a break. He brings up a good point, that not everybody is into nudity, and that even amongst those who DO like nudity, there ARE comfort zones issues to consider.

I would consider the TMF an ADULT site, but not a PORN site; it's NUDITY-FRIENDLY, not NUDITY-REQUIRED. There are those of us who don't relate to or cater to the porn end of the tickling fetish, and who get equal advertising and recognition as those who do. True, the sexually charged vendors might get the MOST of that attention, but let's not leave out those who are uncomfortable with nudity and prefer a more modest medium of tickling material. We have to be considerate of everybody here because at the end of the day, we're all a kind of community that has to stick together to stay afloat.

And this is coming from the most XXX-rated member of the forum, so it's not just fluff.

As far as the MTP Banner is concerned, I think you're overreacting.

And that's all. Even for a prudish person, that is a bit small to get riled up about. For all their popularity, breasts enjoy a greater range of non-sexual contexts in photographic medium than say, butts and genitals, and certainly feet here. If that same photograph was used in a medical journal on breast examination/health/cancer or in a photograph in an art gallery that was otherwise fairly PG-rated, it wouldn't be an issue. The fact that you can see breasts in a non-sexual context at all should be reason enough to let this slide as a matter of taste.

I don't think that's what he's saying at all. It seems to me that he was clear about that in his post. Does not wanting to see nudity in some places automatically mean that a man isn't attracted to women?

That being said, I don't really mind that little bit of nudity. The only reason it might bother me is if a potential model checked out the TMF out of curiosity and decided not to work with me because she doesn't want to appear on a site with nudity. But frankly, if a girl were so shocked by something so mild, on a fetish website at that, despite knowing that my videos are meant for an adult audience, then it might be best to give her a pass anyway.

I do understand the original poster's point of view, and my own personal preference would be to see no nudity at all on the TMF. But I agree that it's normal for a fetish site, and if the pictures on the main page don't get much racier than those in MTP's banner, I don't think it's much of a problem.

to answer the original question....

I prefer seeing clothed models as well...even if it's skimpy clothing. I also prefer non-sexual play. On the occassional times when I check out pics and clips, I stick with them as much as possible. But, it doesn't bother me to see the nudity, etc. when it does appear.

If you're using a firewall of any sort, simply turning off the ActiveX for this site will cancel out the ads for you so you don't need to worry about seeing stuff you don't want to see.
