How long will it take you to recover from the Thanksgiving meal?

By Friday AM I should feel good lol. I try not to overeat like crazy and plus I don't feel sick from eating turkey. It tastes semi-healthy compared to other stuff we eat.
How many people will you be with at Thanksgiving?

Likely about 30 people, including 7 or 8 relatives.

Who does the cooking for your Thanksgiving dinner?

My mom, sister and brother (I am not much of a cook).
What's one thing you wish for this holiday season?

I wish that a problem that Goddess Shelly has will be resolved soon.

What nice present will you give to somebody this year?

I plan to give someone a video game and someone else a coffee maker.

The new playoff system with 12 teams in post-season play.

Are you still hopeful about the NFL season?

I'm hopeful the Jets still have a chance and with all the injuries going around the league they could surprise but I don't count on it lol.
What's one team you never want to see win a championship again?

In baseball, the putrid motherfucking hated jints bastards.
In the NFL, NBA, and NHL, I don't care who wins.

Age 5 in baseball thanks to my dad.

College basketball because there are so many games available.

Yes I liked uno (but Hangman is wayyyyyyyyyyyy better).
What's the most money you ever won in any raffle/lottery/bet?

Once in Las Vegas, I bet $280 on the Dodgers to win that night's baseball game, and won $200. (They were the favorites at -140.) Dusty Baker (who is still a manager) hit a three-run home run and made a spectacular catch in the outfield. I really liked Dusty that day. Later I came to hate Dusty when he became manager of the putrid motherfucking hated jints bastards.

What was the largest bet you ever made on an NFL game?

I never bet on an individual game but I've played those $20 boxes for the Superbowl and joined a football league where you make picks every week. Basically I spent about $100 at the most for a football season.
Would you rather be stuck in a hurricane or a snowstorm?

A snowstorm because there is no defense against 100+mph winds.

70MPH I would say maybe during Sandy (I don't live right on the water so I'm sure it was higher there).
When do you think it's fair to put Christmas lights up?

I would say, for no reason that I can state, December 1[sup]st[/sup].

Do you remember every being sick on Thanksgiving Day before?

No. I've been sick for Christmas Eve/Day before but it was different because I had been sick for several days prior and was in the process of at least recovering. I can't remember actually getting sick on an actual holiday like that so suddenly.
And I hope it never happens again.
Was there anyone in Chicago you were surprised to see and/or not see who showed up/didn't?

Yes, there is one of my least favorite relations by marriage who became a widower two years ago. Not surprised to see his ugly face there, but he showed up with a fiance, a widow in her 60's. I was surprised that he found someone willing to become his second wife.

Will you have a private feast to make up for missing Thanksgiving dinner?

Kind of I've enjoyed some Thanksgiving leftovers including today for lunch.

I ate pecan pie. I usually only eat chocolate desserts.
