....the Brits continue to shit gold medals at the olympics today!! adding three more golds bringing the total gold to 22 and the total medals to 47. What an outstanding performance by team GB. Not bad for a cold, wet, foggy lump of chalk on which a mere 60 million souls huddle together to keep warm.

It already is, in gold-medal terms, it's our most successful Olympic Games since 1908. I'm very, very proud of our country right now. But the one major disappointment was the lack of medals in the swimming pool.
