I will disagree. If it was unnecessary then I would not have seen that after Myriads posted, the situation was spoken about again. I understand the need to defend yourself from misquotations, but sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.

If you had an issue with someone misrepresenting you, you might have PMed Myriads and let him know instead of continuing it in the thread, when he asked that it to stop.

Lastly I addressed it in a overall status as not to place blame nor to call anyone out. I am not assuming anything because I am not in the middle of the situation, only what I see from the outside so I will not pretend to know what every squabble is about or over.

You did the same exact thing that you get so upset about when everyone else does and now you're backtracking to convince people what you really did was make some big important point about hypocrisy.
