this may have brought up before, but how cool is this job. Even though 99.999 percent of them do not have the fetish, it still has to be interesting to them..especially when they scrub ridiculously ticklish feet. Also, has anyone seen a complete stranger get a pedicure and just go hysterical?

You have to keep several things in mind:

Being a pedicurist doesn't mean tons of pretty young girls come to get their feet taken care of. The big majority are old diabetic ladies whose feet look like this:

Second: pedicurists make sure to tickle as little as possible. Otherwise they wouldn't have a lot of customers!

In the place my wife goes they wouldnt touch feet like that.They have a rule that they will not work on any foot that has any kind of cuts scrapes and or open sores.Its a health violation....i think

Then they are not medical pedicurists and I would be careful to go there. Diabetics are a big part of pedicurist jobs, because they really need pedicures for their feet to get better.

I've had lots of pedis and I can't remember a single time when someone completely lost it. I have really ticklish feet and I may have had a twitch or two in the past but that's about it. I think those guys are trained in giving pedicures that will cause the least amount of ticklish sensations to their customers. Most folks that aren't "one of us" tend to not like to be tickled so I can only think that they wouldn't go back to a particular salon if they had an unpleasant experience.

Now when it comes to the fantasy route - I can understand why people think that's what happens at salons. But in reality, I personally haven't seen it. Maybe somebody else has?

This is true. Open cuts and sores are a good entry for bacteria. This is why shaving your legs prior to a pedi is never a good idea.

This is also true.I give pedicures to many diabetic women and we have guidelines we have to follow, although any medical pedicure(medi-pedi) that I do would follow different standard and proceedures, although the pic you posted, I would first advise her to see a podiatrist first before doing any type of service, just to safe.

In my opinion, not cool at all. As was mentioned before, most of the customers wouldn't be pretty young ladies with nice ticklish feet. It could even get pretty disgusting. But that's not the only problem. You couldn't actively tickle the customer's feet, unless you didn't mind about being unprofessional and possibly getting into trouble. There might be occasional accidental tickles, but seriously, how satisfying would that be? It would be way too frustrating a situation. I also feel it would be kind of like taking advantage of the customers, which isn't right.

Going into a field of work to satisfy one's fetish is never a good idea. Unless it's a fetish-related job, I guess, though I personally wouldn't like that either.

Yes, it can get disgusting and there is no tickling, at least not intentional, but the joy I see from my clients after I give them a pedi is priceless. I also don't feel frustrated having to refrain from tickling after a couple of accidental tickles. Its just part of the job and I wouldn't have it any other way.

If that's how you feel about it, then good for you. But I get the feeling you didn't get into that line of work *because* of your fetish. That would be a bad idea. It seems you enjoy it for more than the fetish aspect, which is cool.

It's interesting that you say that NY ler, simply because I actually adore getter pedicures, however I wouldn't want the job of scrubbing and pruning people's feet lol, just doesn't appeal to me 🙂

I did that as a part time job in the 80's early 90's. made a ton of money and picked and choosed who I did. Only good looking, and ticklish.....memories....
p.s. 90% said bare is more ticklish as compares to hose. so says the myth buster.

I have been to nail salons plenty, and for the most part, I see those women who take very good care of themselves..and of course many many hottites.

Most of them go for fingernails. A salon for pedicures only looks way different. I go to both, pedicurist and nail designer, and the clients look very very different!

I'm really sorry you feel I'm doing nothing special and just "scrubbing feet"and you are entitled to your opinion. But the fact is I'm not one of those guys you see at the mall and I consider myself a podiatric hygenist more than a "garden variety" pedicurist. Yes I indeed help women, I've helped hundreds of them, not only with the services I provide but with the guidence I give them.
Yes I'm defineatly no Saint, but no matter whos feet I'm servicing, Its a job, and I'm way too busy for "boners." Anyhow, I'll just stay in my sandbox and maybe one day I'll move on to a different line of work, but right now I'm doin just fine.
