Called and talked to a sales rep about foot massagers, and got to some tickle talk, posted what we said, and only recorded so I could do that, and share, but it seems like some think that it's "creepy" to have tickle conversations with strangers...To each their own, that's fine. If people don't like what I share, then I won't.

Not going to lie, that seems like a pretty creepy thing to be doing. Not like screaming "penis penis penis" into the phone or anything, but still...

For what it's worth I'll take a crack at converting that file for you though.

I was going to say that's creepy...then I realized the TC is a female and now it's just hot.

yeah, it was a female to female convo, and she didn't seem creeped out at all. She seemed happy to talk with me.

Were you sad when Sharper Image closed, Sara?

Their $5,000 massage chairs - man, they tickled! (especially if you lay down in them on your stomach)

This is creepy and ilegal. Recording someone without their knowledge is a crime.

it's a little odd I guess to tickle talk with a person about a product over the phone. I don't think it's horrible because she wasn't saying anything sexually inappropriate or something, but just maybe a little strange to talk about with a random stranger. Not nearly as bad though as actually tickling a complete stranger, so realistically there was no harm done here.

Agreed. It doesn't matter what the gender of the tickle-talking person is.

Didn't get here in time to read the original post, but...

For your information, recording a phone conversation without gaining consent from all parties involved may be extremely fucking illegal - I'm not talking about a fine or probation, here, I mean it's a third degree felony. Now, "wiretapping" laws vary state-by-state, but it's still a pretty safe bet that unless you do something pretty specific (i.e. state at the beginning of the conversation "This conversation may be recorded"), you're in violation of a pretty serious federal law by doing that.

It's a felony to record your own phone conversations? I find that surprising. Can you provide more specific information as to what the law is?

Easy solution: whenever you call someone, just say: "this message may be recorded for quality assurance purposes."

Yes and No

"Under United States federal law and most state laws there is nothing illegal about one of the parties to a telephone call recording the conversation, or giving permission for calls to be recorded or permitting their telephone line to be tapped. However, several states (i.e., California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan[10], Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington) require that all parties consent when one party wants to record a telephone conversation. The Telephone recording laws in some U.S. states require only one party to be aware of the recording, while other states require both parties to be aware. It is considered better practice to announce at the beginning of a call that the conversation is being recorded."

So depending on where this was done, this could be legal or illegal...and Viper this would not be enforced as a 3rd degree felony but at most a Class A misdemeanor, and possibly even less depending on the individual's record, and intent of the recording.

Aha, I suspected as much. That makes much more sense. Thanks. 🙂

My state is different - and as I said, wiretapping laws vary from state to state. Hence, why I said that.

To clarify: the following is applicable ONLY to Pennsylvania state. It does not apply in whole or in part to any other state in the US. Your state's recording or wiretapping laws may, and probably do, vary.

The Pennsylvania Wiretapping Act specifically states that a telephone conversation, wherein the participants have a reasonable expectation of non-interception, may not be recorded unless consent* is provided by all parties privy to said conversation. The beginning of the conversation to be recorded, as far as I know, must contain notification of the fact that it will be recorded. "This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes" is one of the most commonly used lines that obtains consent from those who continue to hold that conversation.

Any person who records a telephone conversation without obtaining consent from all parties involved as described (and gets caught...) commits a felony of the third degree.

*Consent does not mean you say, "Ok, I agree to being recorded." When you are notified that the conversation is being recorded, you provide consent by continuing to participate in the conversation. To remove consent, you must either stop speaking, or hang up. This applies to all cases that the Wiretapping Act is enforced upon.

"Reasonable Expectation of Non-Interception" during a conversation is defined as (paraphrasing here) any oral communication that the participants would have no reason to believe is being recorded. The simple act of telling someone that their convo is being recorded removes that expectation and exempts it from/complies it to the wiretapping act.

omg. I didn't see this convo explode after I left cause people were being D-bags...chill people, I told her i had her on speaker and would be recording cause i wanted to remember prices and names of what we talked about cause I was in the car (true). My real reasoning for recording was so I could transcribe the convo and share, but she knew i was. I've never seen people get so touchy, it's like I made a recording of killing a puppy or something...jeez.

and SERIOUSLY what is up with people calling me creepy? I'm sorry, but we're on a tickle fetish site. I think everything that goes on on here can be viewed by some as "creepy". Way to embrace and be supportive of someone who has something very in common and sensitive as you. Don't you think every single person on this site are coming on here because they think "hey these people like what i like! i can share a cool experiences and not be judged like i would in the "real world" I get really sick of people criticizing each other on here. if I'm asked "do you like m/m tickling" I'll say "no, and here's why since you asked", but I see some wieeeeerd stuff on here that I'm not into at all, stuff that actually would make me want to vomit, I have never NEVER commented on these clips or stories or drawings or whatever and critcized and called them wierd...if I ever did, I'm sorry and I never will again. . I don't look at thiem, if I accidently come across them, I don't say anything...that's mean and disrespectful to something that is very sensitive and personal to someone. I've been on this forum for almost 10 years. I treat everyone with respect. Why can't some people follow suit and just live and let live?

*off my soapbox* I never do that, but that really had to be said.

By the way, most customer service lines say the call may be recorded. So you're usually off the hook (pun intended).

LOL, if you didn't see a thread exploding then you must be new to posting 🙂

Hang in there, Sara. You've brought some cool stuff to this forum, and I hope you still will.

You'll find that, with a few exceptions, as with everything those who are the most censorious are the most closeted.

Welp, guess what? The majority of those people who write stories and shoot clips and draw and take pictures don't exploit unsuspecting strangers just so they can get off.

All we said was that we thought it was kind of weird, it's not like we raised holy hell and tried to get you kicked. Settle down.
