posting ur pic on the TMF

I'll have to count myself into those without that courage then. xD But what I'm thinking when it comes to that, isn't that I don't trust the people on the forum, because here everyone is basically in the same position. I'm thinking more like; what if someone outside of the forum somehow found it and that "someone" happens to be my future boss, a teacher from my school, etc. I know that the chances of that is very small, but still. "Better safe than sorry". 😉

Instead, I'm thinking that if someone from the TMF wants to see how I look like, and that's someone I know relatively well, they can ask and I can show them a picture of myself, but posted on another website. 🙂

I TOTALLY agree with you. Funny thing, I was actually going to post mine but then I chickened out lol. I have my reasons as to why I opted to not post it. But who knows the longer I'm a member and get to know the folks here the more I may be inclined to putting a few pics of myself up 🙂.

I didn't for a long time, but eventually just said to hell with it. Nothing bad has come of it, and if something does, then oh well since it would have been my own fault. I can definately see where you folks find the hesitation and whatnot though.

I was afraid to post my picture for a long time. I was always super paranoid about getting "found out" by someone in my vanilla life. Then I got to thinking that in order for that to happen, someone in my vanilla life would have to be cruising around the TMF, which would make them not so vanilla themselves 😛

So I decided to just suck it up and do it and whatever happened happened. My pictures have been up for probably about 2 years and I have yet to be "recognized" by anyone other than fellow TMFers at gatherings 🙂

Its actually very easy to do this. I was clueless about this for a long time myself.

(1) Find a picture of yourself you like in jpg format.

(2) Go to photobucket.com. Register an account for yourself. Its free. Then just click the huge blue button that says upload images and videos, locate your picture, and upload it to photobucket.

(3) When the picture is uploaded to photobucket, mouse over the picture. It will bring up various links and codes for the picture. One of them will be the img code. Copy the img code, then go to the TMF, go to edit your signature option, and insert that code wherever you wish for your picture to appear. Hit submit and you are done.

As for myself, I choose not to put my picture up strictly for career reasons. I work in an extremely conservative field that reviews my qualifications to practice every few years. I don't ever wish to have any conversation about the TMF in any biannual reviews with some person with a narrow, close-minded perspective about fetish sites.

The magical thing about the web is once it's out there, it's out there, and can take a life of it's own. This pops up so frequently in the news. So I've been very selective about what I post on here.
One of my sample videos I posted here I recently was told ended up on Daily Motion, where more than just us TMFers can view it. So I won't do that anymore.

I for one have not only posted pictures of myself on this forum, but have linked to a couple youtube movies that star myself in them. Still no recognition.

To be honest I'm the kind of person who'd be happy to be recognized; and as Skipadeedoodah pointed out; whoever found the picture here would have to be cruising around here anyway, in which case; hello fellow fetishist.

It helps that I like getting compliments on my hair and stuff too. 😉
