Prayer/Thought Request

Lisa, a classmate of my brother's and the cousin of a friend of mine, passed away today. She had been battling a brain tumor for the past two years. She lost that fight today, but it's a relief because she's no longer in pain. I'm asking for you to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. She was only 23 years old.

My goodness! Both my children are in that age group; their parents must be really going through a hard time. My condolences to her family for their loss as well as friends and loved ones who are grieving at this time.

It is especially hard when you lose someone with a terminal disease at a young age. Several months ago there were several fund raising events in our area for a young child with cancer on the brain stem. She passed away as there is nothing that medical science could do for her. The funds that were raised are being used for research in combating this rare form of cancer. My sympathy goes out to this family.
