...The impact that the New World Order(nWo), had on the buisness? When the nWo was in it's prime in the WCW, they were unstoppable. I gotta tell you, wrestling had never been as fun to watch, or participate in. I was probably the biggest New World Order fan there was. I remember getting into heated arguments about nWo vs WCW...(I always liked the "New World Order vs Sports Entertainment in general" viewpoint, as a nWo fan. The way they were set up in WCW was perfect, the speech Hogan gave, the "takeover" by hall and nash....it made it all seem truly emotional. When you really think about it though, the New World Order did what they said they would do. They dominated in the ring, destroyed everyone who stood in the way of the agendas they had, made a mockery of professional wrestling's best, and eventually, extremely hurt the buisness, by putting wcw out of the picture. Now that wcw, wwe's only real competition, is out of the picture, creativity has obviously suffered in the buisness. The ratings prove it. The New World Order gave wrestling fans a hell of a ride though, and if Mcmahon had handled it right, or better yet, let hogan and nash rule the nWo and call the shots like they did in wcw, the New World Order would have once again took a "stand" against the buisness, taken over world wrestling entertainment, and boosted ratings ten-fold. If only it had been handled right...Mcmahon obviously didn't care too much about the return of the nWo, because they didn't have that "fire" they had in wcw....it didn't seem as though they had that "real" want to destroy the buisness. It didn't have heart or character, unlike the heyday of nWo/WCW. (I know that whole speech was dramatic, and I don't care, lol 😛)
....What do you think? Am I right? Or am I just some nWo fanboy who needs to move on? 😉 😀 😛 (it'll never die! It's an attitude!)
