q-ball hospitalized

As many of you know, q-ball is my brother, and about two days go, he awoke with a backache. Not an uncommon occurance, except this one didn't go away after some moderate morning stretching. He tried, Tylenol, a heating pad, cold packs, but nothing helped him. He just asked me a momen ago to call him an ambulance, which I did. It wasn't really an emergency, but both of us being wheelchair bound, it's the only way we can get to the hospital. One of the EMT's asked him if he's ever had back surgery, and I have the feeling this might have to happen. I've got my cordless phone right next to me, waiting for news. Please say a prayer for him, O.K.? Thanks. I appreciate it.

Good luck to you. Probably just need some R&R. I know it's no fun when your back goes out. I've been there. Probably should have been in the hospital a couple of times myself, but just too stubborn to go. Take care of yourself.

Haven't been on the Forum today. Just heard about your brother. Do you have an update? I hope he's all right. I've been sick myself, but am able to get around. Instead of complaining, I have these situations to remind me that my life isn't so bad.

I pray for a swift and speedy recovery for q-ball!

Thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers. As for an update, he was admitted, and, since it seems the hospital doesn't do MRI's on weekends, they put him on a morphine drip to control the pain. I guess I'll have to wait till Monday to find out what's what. I've never been on a morphine drip myself, but I don't expect to hear from him this weekend. So, that's all for now. He's home,and he doesn't need surgery! HUZZAH! He'll be taking some pain pills and muscle relaxants for a bit, but is expected to make a full recovery! Thanks for all your sentiments and support. I appreciate it, and q does, too!

I want to thank all you people who said all those nice things about me THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!, Secondof all it wasen't serious. I'm home now and feel much better. After reading all your thoughts i actualy had to wipe a tear from my eye.it was very heart warming to know so many people cared🙂 . You will all be in my prayers too. thank you again
