When it comes to age, in any aspect whether dating, sex, friends or whatever, do you find you have a preference or get along with a certain age group?

When looking for a 'partner', do you prefer younger or older or do you care? Why?

Who do you get along with better (in general) people younger or older than you?

Do you have a problem with an older man dating a younger woman or vice-versa? And which do you think is more common?

Personally, I find I'm more attracted to older women or women older than myself. I think because I have an older sister that I get along with and because of April O'Neil (Damn that red-headed cartoon!)

I also find many older women (whether just older than me or even old enough to be my mother) attractive. I think some of the most beautiful women alive are over 28-30 years old; like Angie J, Jennifer Connelly or Nicole Kidman. I can even look at Meryl Streep or Diane Keaton and say 'Wow, she looks good.' or even 'she looks great for her age.'

Yeah, I know I'm probably weird, but it's not like I'm not saying I think Betty White is a total fox.

And let the record show that I think 28-4? is the peak age for a woman when it comes to looks, no offense to anyone.

When it comes to friends/general conversation, I've found I get along better with older people or people older than me. Maybe because I usually just shut up and listen to them, maybe because they're less immature in my eyes.

I prefer older men over younger guys.

And in basically every respect, not guys that are just older because they are. I mean mentally as well.

If there's a younger guy out there who carries the mentality of someone older, then that holds appeal.

I enjoy it because there's much to learn and a shitload to teach.

I like guys a little older than me, not a lot though.... I generally hang around people within 2 years of my age either way (being in college)...but that being said, i have friends who are 17, and friends who are 35...so it just depends on the person 🙂

I look for people around my own age or older, but not by to much.

In general I think I get along better with people who are older. Most of the younger people I know are way to immature.

I don't really think there is a huge problem with age, but I do feel that men dating younger women is more common. It's not for me, but hey if it works and the people involved are happy then that's cool.

I don't really have a preference. Most of my partners have been slightly younger than me, by months or a couple of years, but I do enjoy the company of women of experience as well.

Having said that, I've never gone out with anyone older than 32. Or younger than 16.

Me, personally, I've always liked chicks in their 30's. They are more mature and...calmer...more confidant...than younger chicks and a lot of women just tend to look their best in their 30's. Thirtysomething women are just damn sexy!

I prefer younger girls, not exclusively but as a preference, as friends and partners, because they have an energy and enthusiasm that fades as you get older. Some people my age manage to hang onto that, but in general, not so much.

A lot of times, I find that I'm at my best when dealing with people in that age group, too, men or women.

I also like seeing the world through the eyes of someone who isn't from the same generation as me and takes things for granted that I think are weird or unnecessary, and hasn't had a chance to become too cynical to think that things can change.

As for the third question, I just don't care who dates who, or why, except when it affect my own life directly. If a man wants to date a woman half his age, or a woman wants to date a man half her age, or a dude wants to hump a turtle, what difference does it make to me? 😎

If the woman in the equation is good looking then I have a problem with any relationship. The problem is jealousy. Again, age isn;t a factor; I currently hate one of my oldest friends because he's seeing an absolute stunner. She's got the intellect of a ten year old, but by God she's gorgeous xD

Older man younger woman, purely because sex is more important to men than it is to women. Older men are more likely to put up with shit from a younger partner as long as she's giving out; older women are less likely to put up with the antics of a younger man. In my opinion anyway.

Both, but it really depends on the age gap. I can deal with a larger age gap older than me than one younger than me. When I was younger, I would gravitate towards upperclassmen in school, but nowadays, most of my friends are actually in college now. I guess being without kids or a marriage, I'm kind of stuck in the 20s mentality, but I really can't relate to people any younger than about 18. I also don't find much in common with people older than about 45.

I don't think it's healthy for a 30 year old to date a teenager, but I also don't mind the business of others. I would guess the older man dating a younger woman is more common, but that's probably because women often look for maturity and experience (and money), whereas men often look for a youthful appearance.

There's nothing wrong with that. I've been getting to know a girl 2 years older than me pretty well. If the situation was different, I'd gladly date her, so age really isn't a firm limit unless the gap is huge.

You probably appreciate maturity, which, in the long run, is better for relationships anyway.

Eh, my first Dominant was 64 and I was 26. Compatibility knows no age. I have no idea what's more common, I do seem to see younger women with older men more often but that could just be the circles I hang out with
