I think they really filmed all those Renfaire Videos on genuine events (though some of them weren't renaissance festivals). As for people locked in stocks, I believe they weren't hired models but the real visitors. On the other hand, they never clearly explained if the participants knew that the whole purpose of this activity was to produce and sell it as a fetish material.

That's certainly what it looks like, on both points. They pitched it as a contest to see if they could last without dropping rubber balls, or something like that. Which would be fine if it really was intended just as a fun event for tourists and not to produce fetish videos.

It's possible they did then ask the participants to sign a release so they could sell the footage. If they didn't, they'd be in a very dodgy legal position. If they did, I have no idea how they explained it.

Also, they never returned to any of those festivals, and from what I've seen on their YouTube channel, they are still releasing the footage they made in 2022, so they made no new attempts. Maybe they thought it was too risky? And frankly speaking, their website looks really dodgy and I think that if any of the women find out about it, they would be in a really bad legal position.

Yeah I remember in one of their videos the woman doing the tickling said something to the effect of "we're not foot fetishists, we're not shooting porn or anything like that" so I think they definitely were lying to participants (and maybe even the ticklers themselves had no clue they were being used to create fetish content). Given that, I'm pretty skeptical any donations went to Ukraine or Uvalde like they said. Overall, really scummy.

they 100% were not telling those women the whole truth. the whole business sucks because they try to thinly guise the whole thing as a 'scientific reflexology experiment' but in reality its crappy fetish content. pretty sure they're on this website too if i remember correctly.

I agree with you. I can't imagine any visitor agreeing to do it, after hearing that they want to later sell the video as a fetish content. They were members of this forum and even tried to unsuccessfully address some issues people had with their content. But the last time I checked, they are now banned (but I don't know why)
