i'm not a Borders fan. It's way over priced. But I'm not big on reading novels anyways... but their cds are over priced.. lol... But I am sad that so many people are going to lose their job. It's hard enough for me to find a job.. now it's going to be even harder since so many other people are trying to get a job.
And I'm sorry for the people that live in cities where B&N is in a hard to get location. Our B&N and Borders are across the street from each other so they're both as easy to get to.

There was a great bookstore in downtown San Antiono for many years, Rosengren's. It was a haven for serious readers, you did not go there in search of the latest trashy novel. The coffee pot was always on, and if you wanted to sit around and sample different books that was okay too. Sadly, the mega book stores and changing demographics led to its demise long ago. Oh, I forgot to mention the late, lamented Brown's, in Houston. They also closed the doors many years ago.
