Stop Hiding Ourselves Behind the Stories We Make up About Ourselves, why do many of yous hide your selves like mask robbers if not worst alot of yous hide and try to be women as if some don't know the difference between conversations of men and women many of yous hide your selves because you are cowardly, and ashamed, It’s amazing the lengths we will go to in order to hide. We’ll bury ourselves in work, or get involved in an affair, or build a wall around our hearts—anything but face the truth .
Yaqi is a hero to the forum and an idle but we should take his advice and show the world who we are and what we look like you might think your ugly, feel embarrassed or worried to be judge by another human bein thats just the same as you and I a Man is a universe within himself.Open your eyes, look within. Are you satisfied with the life you're living? A great man once said "Don't Point Fingers Unless Your Hands Are Clean".The problem is, when you hide you become a phony. Have you any idea how much emotional energy it requires to keep up a charade for others? Only two things are worse: being a phony with yourself, and being a phony with people . You’ll find it difficult to be honest with others or look them in the eye. Why? Because you’ll be afraid they might look into your heart and see the real you. Is that where you are today? Afraid to look into your own heart? We are blinded to our own imperfections and our lives are filled with greater disappointment. I’m sorry, but everyone does not get a trophy in life. Accept it, you are not perfect and you will stink at a few things...or in a lot of things. So be it. Accept it! The problem with honesty is that it required humility. Instead we hold on to insecurity and want others to fix everything for us and make life easier. WAKE UP! That’s not reality. It takes a great amount of humility to admit your faults, but honesty is the door to an amazing life .There is a reason that at Alcoholics Anonymous you must begin by saying, “Hello my name is ______________and I’m a alcoholic”. Being honest with yourself that you have a problem is the first step to getting your problem resolved! ADMIT IT, you are not perfect!

No offense but you don't even have a location in your profile....

Second of all it's not normal to go around broadcasting your personal life....some things should be TMI.

You don't speak for me when you say Yaqi is a hero to this forum. Not that I have any clue as to what else you're trying to put forth.

I'm stockytickler, and I am a ticklephile. I've been one pretty much all my life. Don't see it ending any time soon.

Wow, you're right. I feel better. 😛

OP, thanks for pointing out the obvious. I feel so enlightened now! Where can I sign up with Scientology?

By the way, did you actually understand why the AA say "Hello, I am such and such and I am an alcoholic"? And guess what, they don't go around telling that to, say random people on the street or, for example, their damn boss - they just say it in their meetings!

i now feel stupider for reading this post... THANKS... ... do yourself a favor, dont quit your day job for the psychology field, kay? people would run away screaming for their lives... :scream:

Ok, everybody stay away from the brown acid...I repeat, everybody STAY AWAY from the Brown Acid!

Hiding among us is an ancient theme.I don't like hiding. I do like to keep certain things to myself, but many of yous hide and pretend to be women the point of the forum is to communicate with one another to share common interest for us with the tickling fetish a chance to come out little by little and maybe find that special some one but how can we do that if we have many cowards who hide them selves as women now is that pathetic or what. Why do we enter the forum if we're just gonna mask our selves pretending to be women is a is a fraud .For those people who are actually trolls themselves. Yet even though they hide . Hiding behind user-generated nicknames that effectively conceal their identity, these people spread hatred, racism and bald-faced lies – and they do so without fear of being reprimanded.
There are "so many reasons" for one's hiding,..but there is "only one" thing to consider it "isn't right" to hide Whatever it is that sends one under his or her table or into his or her closet;- a guilty feeling, a chickening, a suffocation, a malnourishment;.. it's improper to hide. If one chooses to turn his face away rather than look you in the eye 'it isn't right to hide' for whatever reason!!! That gives rise to many unnecessary doubts. Its always better to come out in the open & check things out to clear the air.
Seriously lying is not appreciated in our society. I know a guy who had several other fake accounts and than he started discussing with his own accounts lol. But he is so much hated these days. Well the people that really know him.The problem is, when you hide you become a phony. Have you any idea how much emotional energy it requires to keep up a charade for others? Only two things are worse: being a phony with yourself, and being a phony with people .

Well, I've got to say as a lifelong ticklephile I've never felt so repressed and uncomfortable about my shameful secret as I do right now, posting as I am in this wasteland of shame and lies. I mean really, some of these chicks might be DUDES -- DUDES into TICKLING -- and I think you all know how terrifically UNCOMFORTABLE that makes me. /s

But I still don't understand what you think is going to happen if everyone were to suddenly come out of the tickle closet. If you think maybe there'd be actual bars and gathering spots with tickle themes open to the public. Or perhaps giant online discussion forums devoted to tickling. Or if people would suddenly dare to post pictures and videos on the interweb of themselves and their friends being tickled -- some of them with a certain amount of commercial success. Or maybe you imagine there'd be actual real-world gatherings of people who are /into/ tickling. You're living in a DREAM WORLD ...

Oh, wait. Every single one of these things is happening right now.

And oh my god ... someone ... somewhere ... is TICKLING someone ... Kitchy kitchy kitchy tickler101 ...

OMG! I'm a DUDE! This is ... SO WRONG! 😀

*blows raspberry ... right on tickler101's digitally generated bellybutton 😀

I like sex, doesn't mean if i walk up to a random girl and say this it will be received warmly

"You're travelling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the Twilight Zone!"

OP, could you please tell us in ONE sentence what you actually want to say?

LOL...no, no, I don't think that's it! 🙂 I think he thinks Yaqi is a hero because he openly goes on TV with his tickling fetish. So, let's all go to some idiot talkshow or something like that and tell the whole world about our fetish. Would that be something you'd like, OP? 🙂

I think what he is trying to say is we should be more open with our fetish and not be ashamed of it...i am sure other members of other fetishes arent as ashamed of theirs as we ours.....just being a devil's advocate here

There seems to be an issue where the OP is troubled by forum members that create inverted-sex profiles. I get the feeling they invested some time an energy in getting to know either a woman or man they enjoyed talking to only to find that the individual was not as advertised in the gender department.

Is this annoying? Yup. Is it a fact of life due to how the web is designed? Yup. We learn, and move on.

These folks are not 'hiding' due to shame or any such reason. They are inverting their genders because they feel it will help them reach their goal of getting the sort of interactions they want. Deception for advancement.

You see it in real life also. It's just easier on the web.

Heheh!

Seriously, please, let's not. With all due respect to Yaqi and all that's he's accomplished and contributed to the community (much, much more than I have), I'm sorry to say that, personally, I found his TV adventures to be somewhat more creepy than inspiring. Just my opinion, though, and it's not necessarily Yaqi's fault. I can understand that some people are in awe over what he did. He certainly has a lot of guts. But I'm not sure this kind of exposure benefits the tickling community. I'm hoping other producers won't do the same thing in the future.

I once got a call from some guy working for a radio station in Quebec City about my own project. He said he thought it looked like fun and wanted to do a story about my business, including an interview. He promised he'd keep things fun and positive. I immediately declined his offer without needing to think about it. I knew full well that even if he meant what he said about keeping it positive (and that's a big if), and no matter how well I presented myself and my project, things would most likely get twisted in some way, drawing ridicule, disgust, self-righteous outrage and general incomprehension from a good percentage of listeners. No good could come of it. That's how I feel about Yaqi's TV thing.

I agree with your decision Last Laugh, however that disgust might be something our community has to endure in order to reach a certain point in society.

I think it's inevitable that that reaction will occur should any main stream attention be directed our way but I also think that that is potentially a hurdle towards acceptance.

But then, why do we need acceptance in the first place? I definitely think tickling has light, fun and enjoyable aspects that everyone could and should appreciate... aspects that are not necessarily of a sexual nature. After all, I think tickling in and of itself is given a bad rap, per se. I would argue that it's rarely introduced in a manner that the lee can enjoy, because the ler is too focused on him/her-self or else on achieving certain reactions from the lee rather than ensuring that the lee properly enjoys him/her-self. But then, tickling has all sorts of usages outside of community, from flirting to bullying. Who knows.

I would appreciate it if we were more accepted in a way that allowed others to enjoy our particular feitsh but I don't necessarily think it possible, and I'm not necessarily sure I'd want to endure or force others to endure the potential hurdles that lie in the way, specifically the ones you've cited LL.

That's just my take on that assumption, though. I agree with Myriads that this thread isn't about what I'm discussing.

Sorry, but that made me laugh a little. What kind of "point in society" does our community have to reach? 🙂 I mean....my sexuality really doesn't need to be anywhere in society, it needs to be in my bedroom! 🙂
