Its because tatoos are visible to everybody not just the wearer .And I have seen way too many otherwise beautiful women ruin themselves with this shitty graffiti not to have an opinion about it

I've got no real problem with tattoos, to be honest. It's piercings that creep me out...
 
Wow I go to bed, an two full pages pop up...lol just from reading the posts since, if you love tattoo's, have tattoo's, have seen BAD tattoo's (I've seen many!) or think tattoo's are dumb an are unappealing. Me personaly, I've meet absolutly gorgeous women who didnt have a single tattoo...yet at the same time have meet absolutly gorgeous women who have had many tattoo's! I think what it all boils down to is prefrence,..dose a girl have to have tattoo's to be beautiful in my eyes? HELL NO!, but do I think a gal with lovely tattoos is still beautiful?....HELL YES! But if your still the type of person who thinks tattoo's makes a person "ugly"...in the end, frankly I dont give a damn =P , I can see beauty on both ends

I've got a front facing profile of a wizard with a crystal ball on my left bicep. I figure once I get old and my skin starts getting wrinkly, he's just gonna look older and wiser. 😛

Seriously, aside from the wizard, I wouldn't mind getting more, but I'm extremely picky about what I'd want. I really like wizards, but aside from the one I've got, I haven't seen any wizard tattoos that I really like. None of the ones in tattoo shops look like wizards. They all look more like grizzled bikers dressed in wizard robes. Also, I don't wanna turn my body into a tower of mages. I'd like a little variation, but I can't think of anything I care about enough that I'd endorse it in permanent ink on my skin. :shrug:

When I was looking into getting my first tattoo back then (i'm getting old lol) I had seen alot of people get small Chinese or Japanese letters done, but not large ones, and not in old traditonal form, (which was this one) , I credit this tattoo from reading Go Rin No Sho's ; The Book of Five Rings, haha in the end I'm a romanticist, both for striving to be a "Southern Gentleman" as well as a stotic protector! (I work in public safetly) =P
 
Ok, so during my recent "midlife crisis" as my friends and co-workers refer to my trip to San Francisco, I got my ears pierced for the first time in 20 years. And I got a tattoo of a chocobo (a colorful bird, usually yellow, from Final Fantasy, the video game) on my back to cover a scar where I had a growth removed. I've played Final Fantasy for almost a decade. Yes, at age 60, I will still like the yellow bird. And... no one can see it. Not even me. I just know it's there and it's better than a growth.

I don't have any tats. I'm probably going to piss off the board, but I'm not really a fan of ink. I'm kind of old-fashioned in that regard. To me, there's nothing more beautiful than smooth, untouched skin, at least that's what I like for women.

I don't see the female body as a canvas, but as a palace or sacred temple and tats are graffitti and tagging.

That said, I kind of dig the tramp stamp and there are some conservative ankle tats that look nice when strategically-placed, but I would rather not see tats on a woman. One or two look okay, especially if they have meaning, but any more than that or the random, sloppy Boyfriend's name is tacky. Additionally, I'm not a fan of the trendy 3 stars on the foot, the ivy leaf up the calf or the tribal band around the ankle. If you're going to get inked, at least be original.

Almost all the woman I've been friendly with have had some, I find them quite sexy!
