Issue Twelve has hit the stands. It's an issue that many of you have been waiting for a long, long time. The time is here, and hopefully you won't be disappointed.


This issue costs $12.95 for 11 fully colorized pages, a cover and a pinup.


I'd been wanting to write this issue for so damn long, that when it came down to drafting out how I really wanted it to look, I realized it would take about 20 pages to do so. At that point, I made a decision to break up the mini story into two parts. The first part is issue #12, which just came out. It features one of the twins, Yin, and how she views and uses tickling. She views it as a torture, an activity of cruelty to be used in conjunction with her ice torments.

The second part will be issue #13, and will star Yang, the other twin. She's a much more warm and sensuous person (although also cruel). She loves tormenting her victims through more erotic means.

So that's the main themes for these next two issues: fire and ice. This one is ice.

The need for improvement in the artwork is probably the biggest critique we've received for Issue 11. And fully justified, when I go back to look at that product. This issue has noticable improvements, but the road is long, and we'll be constantly retooling. So we appreciate your feedback via PM and email to tell us what parts you really liked, and which parts you didn't.

The other piece of feedback we've received is a definite need to improve production times. These books take a long time to produce, but 9-16 month production times aren't going to cut it. So I'm personally taking steps to ensure #13 will be completed faster. Production for that issue probably won't start for another month or two (I'm focusing on a couple other tickle projects), but once it does, I expect the production time to be a fraction of what it has been.

This comic universe is now six years old. Hard to believe it's been around that long!

Agent Succubus, born Jennifer Smytes, holds the power to sway men's minds. For a full week, she has been playing a dangerous manipulative game of chess with her hated enemies Yin and Yang. That game is about to end...

For the twins have found Agent Succubus has two exploitable flaws: fierce loyalty to her closest friends, and very sensitive breasts.

Don't worry, this isn't turning into an ice fetish book. Tickling will always be the primary focus here. But Yin does love her icey torments as well.

You guys really nailed a lot of things with this comic. The writing is very well done (I can't believe you fit so much story into a single issue). And the characters are a lot of fun to read.

I can definitely feel Dave's influence - so kudos to both of ya!!!

I loved how 'tickle focused' this issue was, and I really commend you how sexy Succubus came out. I know nudity is something you have wanted to avoid, but as a fan of the series... I gotta say - the generous erotic nudity was completely appropriate, much appreciated, and hawt as hell.

More please. (IMHO)

I also really felt like the art was better in this issue. You guys really take feedback to heart - and that says a lot about your dedication to this genre, and to your fans.

Anyway - thanks for working so hard on this one. I would certainly recommend it.

Oblesklk: Well sorta, I guess...but you know what the book really needs?

Dave: To show some skin for once?

Oblesklk (ignoring Dave): Purple elephants! Like 50! And um, 2 singing camels and the genie from Aladdin...

Dave: Dude, seriously, what's wrong with you?

I spoke with Dave a few times about pacing of the story and he really illuminated a couple things that I can't thank him enough for. Well, I guess I can...thanks Dave!

Don't give me any of that art envy stuff. Your work's taken quantum leaps forward in the last two years. You two make an amazing team. Always have, and hopefully you always will.

I'm cracking the whip on Ruthless #2 as we speak I got back the pencils for that issue and damn I like what I'm seeing so far. But we're still a ways off from completion, so I'll keep mum about it until it's more of a finished product.

Let me say how honored I was to have been a part the Agencies team for two issues now. The "tripod" style of creating these issues has worked well. Like Geddy Lee once said....three people in a project is perfect, there's no sides and no one can gang up on the others! Seriously, this is the best team I've ever worked with on any project. I'm stunned myself at how this issue has represented, in equal parts, my influence, Oblesklk's and the artist's. All into one new direction that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Issue 13 is gonna be a muthufuckah.....I can tell you that.

Wow. I'm really only into /m tickling, but I look at these examples and I WISH you folks that are making these incredible tickling comics for MTJPUB would do some /m work. This is just stunning. And the quotes (Not yet, I can't laugh anymore! What the hell are those things hanging there?) are exactly what I love to see in tickle fiction. I'm jealous. 🙂

I meant to post to this but forgot. I'm glad it was bumped so i had to chance to post again.

Anyhow, i rather enjoyed this issue. As was meantioned, the detail in drawing was much better this time, and Succubus reacts better as well. The art was well done, and Succubus was looking at her best, particulerly her large breasts.

I think their are two area's the artist needs to work a little more on though. One, and this isn't too bad in this issue, but i felt that the ice circles at times didn't really do well as far as letting you know they were in contact with the skin. Not at the later part,as thats fairly obvious, but when they are decending and i'm assuming, running over Succubus's breasts. They didn't seem to quiet have the depth of detail or visial display to show they were brushing over Succubus's breasts, though i could be wrong and they might have never came in contact with her breasts at all until the final parts.

Number two, and this might just be a personal thing, but i found some of the faces made by succubus while she was being tickled...just wierd. Now, i know this is probably a difficult thng to do for artists, as its hard to draw a laughing face and not make the next laughing face a carbon copy of the first, especially if they have to draw 12 different laughing faces. They obviously need to find different faces to draw to express the reactions. On page three, for example, Were succubus says "Thats Maddening!" i found the face not bad, but it did nothing for me. But, i could be just being picky.

Anyway though, good publication and i hope to see the next one out soon.

I'm looking forward to finishing the script and getting this one into production. It will be the climax of a story arc with lots of...well...climaxing?

Definitely loving having the second pair of eyes/ears during production. Sometimes the issues turn out fine, sometimes I get ADD and go off in weird directions. Good to be back on track when I veer off into the ditch.

At some point, I'm going to force you to pen a script for The Agencies that's all Dave. Or maybe a graphic novel of some sort. That would be brilliant. I always thought it would be cool to have a graphic novel like Sin City, in which different tickling authors write different stories that are all part of a bigger picture, with intertwined characters and plots. Someday...

All I can say is stay tuned. We have no plans for */M material right now, but you know, it doesn't mean we never will. I would love to have a male spy captured along with a female spy in The Agencies, and display the dynamic between the two scenes side by side. That would be neat.

We don't work for MTJ Pub, we're our own production house. Would love to collaborate with Morandilas at some point down the road, though. He's a really cool cat. We exchanged PMs a couple months ago, and while the contents are far too mushy to repeat here word for word the gist is that I respect the sheer amount of work he's done for this community for the last decade, and the consistent level of quality his teams bring to the table. This is certainly the golden age of tickle comics right now, and we have him to thank for it.

I think you're dead on, here. And you're not alone, her facial expressions aren't "quite there" for some of the readers of this issue. We've mostly ditched the "dead look" that was present in #11, now we just need to drive home the rest of it.

So that, along with nailing down the color style, are top priorities in my opinion for #13.

And no, you're not picky. We're not delivering at 110%, so we need to keep working until we get it there.

Thanks, that means a lot to me. I've been in kind of a funk lately (it happens), so that's good to hear that people have enjoyed this issue a bit.

Of the newer issues, definitely check out #7 if you haven't already.

I'm liking Agent Succubus. Very nice.

She's a doozy alright, pure sexuality wrapped up in concentrated form. I had joked with the artists that her character description was just one line: "too much woman to fit on a page" but I think they've done alright translating her to comic form.

I'll be honest, I'm taking a break from the series for a bit. I have no intention of canceling, I'm just kind of burned out. Took a look at #12, wasn't happy with this and that, so we're retooling, and I intend on getting the script finished for #13 by the end of summer. It will be a hell of a script, that's all I want to say right now. But I need to do a good job of getting everything I want compacted into the story and make sure the hand off to the artists is clean this time around.

I'm still productive on three other projects (yes Ruthless #2 is one of them, but that production is beyond cursed 🙂 ), so I'd like to push those a bit through production before we start on Agencies #13.

I know I risk sales by spacing releases so far apart, but I'd rather take my time, take it up when my heart's into it, and really do it right, rather than pushing it when there's no oil in the engine, know what I mean?

I have a couple emails in my inbox from you I need to respond to. I've been rotten about keeping up with those of late. I have an idea based on something you mentioned earlier, so I'll follow up with that offline.

Hope BC production is going well for you, those releases are epic

I say that knowing that I have not yet started the next Bounce Chix adventure in any real way (other than plot outlining). I have been wrapped up entirely in a different adventure. So I both sympathize and relate to your current struggle.

Short story - we will all wait for the next issue as long as you need us to.
