The Giant chuckled "I'm as confused as you are all happy about this. Where did I get this money from?"

Xenos said " You mean you don't know"

Argentum pondered " you think it's a bribe from the witch. Maybe here is some gold and be on your way"

Obsidian said "hmmm I was thinking that too. Still strange though"

 

[Edge]

The Giant seemed concerned. "Wow. I don't remember my past life but somehow I really think I was poor so I have no idea where I got this money from." Maximus said "Did someone say GOLD? Hey big fella don't hold out on me if gold comes your way soon."

Xenos said "I think Argentum and Obsidian are right. It's a bribe from the witch. Verdis can you cast a protection spell over us to keep this nonsense from happening again "

Verdis said " Good idea."

Verdis goes silent and meditates as a bright blue transparent bubble surround the group then fades.

Verdis says "that should help us a lot I think"

Xenos says "Thanks"

Maximus said "Hey at least let him keep a little gold to spend on me."

Xenos laughed "No problem. We got a good deal on the trail mix. He will have enough leftover to buy you lots of sword polish"

 

[Edge]

"Sounds good everyone" said the Giant. We've got lots of trail mix. I've got lots of money. Maxium interrupted "You mean WE have lots of money."
Oh, right said the Giant. "Let's go forward friends."

Xenos smiled "Yea we are doing well. Let's get this archer and the air mage then talk stragey"

 

[Edge]

As the group continued onward they saw a flash of light in the sky. The Giant asked "What the heck is that?"

Xenos says"i don't like the look of that. Verdis can you double up on the protection bubble for all if us."

Verdis says "Already on it."

A blue flash sorrows the group for a second then fades.

Xenos says "I fear the witch is pissed they you did not take her gold bribe. Let's gather round the Giant and wait. See what nasty thing shows up."

In the distance there is an ungodly roar. Like some being tortured and some one yelling in anger.

Argentum says " I know that sound anywhere. It's a banshee. Get your weapons put and your spells on we got a batlle"

 

[Edge]

The Giant armed Maximus. "I'm ready." Such a journey suddenly turned into action. The Giant watched for who would take the lead in the battle but was right behind his friends.

Argentum says "Ok quick Banshee lesson. Banshees are undead spirits they switch from being ghost like to being in material realm.or our world. You can't use a sword on them in ghost form. Have to wait till they are in physical form. If you can see through the Banshee its in ghost form.... when you can't see through it its in physical form then you can attack. This means you gotta look at them and trust me that ain't a lot of fun."

 

[Edge]

The Giant stared at the banshee from a distance. "Ok how close should we get?"

Argentum said "stay as far away as you can and still do damage. If you got your Godhammer swing that thing as far as you van and hot the Banshee when she is in physical form. Use Maximus if she gets closer to us"

 

[Edge]

The Giant wound up Godhammer and swung with all his might and struck the banshee which angered it and it started closing in on the group.

Argentum said "Nice hit bro. Awesome. Time for a little Palladin magic"

Argentum kneels on one leg and prays. Suddenly a blast of pure bluish white light strikes the Banshee and knocks it back.and stuns it"

Argentum says " Quick Xenos giver her a blast of lightning. Banshee hate ligjtning"

Xenos raises his staff and it glows purple when suddenly a massive thunderbolt hot the Banshee injuring it badly"

Argentum says to the Giant "Why don't you and Maximus finish her off before she realizes she is imjured."

 

[Edge]

The Giant took a hold of Maximus and followed up on the Banshee. "BAM"...Maximus said "I think we did it!"

The Banshee played there for a bit then turned into a bubbling mass of dark purple goo which melted into the ground as a foul smelling purple vapor arose in the air.

Argentum said "yea you did it. It's quite quite dead. Can't mistake the smell of dead Banshee. Really makes you wanna puke.: CONGRATS though. Job well done."

 

[Edge]

The Giant smiled. "Wow I feel like I'm really part of the group now." Maximus said "You are. Thanks to me of course."

Xenos said " Excellent everyone. Great job. Let's press on and get the Elen archer and then the Air mage. Don't want to stay in one place too long in case the witch sends more evil things our way."

The group marched forward. The Giant suddenly saw a big bright flash of lightening right above him which startled him. "WOAH!"
