You might wonder how I got one of these useless hand-held fans. The Board of Elections, being too lazy to find out which of the polling places was air conditioned, sent them to all polling places.

Sounds like something the government would do. It's a 100 degrees here is a worthless hand held fan. Probably work up more sweat trying to fan yourself lol.

Exactly so! The effort of fanning yourself with that little fan on a stick with heat you up more than the slight breeze it creates will cool you down.

I think there was even a study on it. Proving what is common sense to everyone...except government officials. 😛
 
I was always told when it's that hot out it just blows the hot air around lol.

There are people that live in Death Valley as well. That is insane heat there.
 
Living in "Death Valley" just doesn't sound ideal.
 
I might be happy in an air conditioned small house in Death Valley as long as:

1) a Domme would visit me once a week
2) I had internet connection
and 3) the electricity and the AC never failed.

A bigger enigma to me is why anybody lives in Minnesota. 🥶 🥶
 
Our governor is not very smart, and she does nothing to keep Con Edison from overcharging us for electricity. 🙁
