I promised Lotus that I would only accept the Golden Feather Award for Best
Original Artist 2007 if she let me share it with her.

Well, what did she think I meant? 😛

We wanted to create an illustration this week to thank all of you here at
the TMF. When we first started posting here a little less than two years
ago we weren't sure how well our work would be received, and what kind of
support we would get.

You all have exceeded our wildest expectations. You offer great feedback,
and comments - you give us helpful ways to make our art and writing better,
and you make us both feel like we belong here.

So thank you.

Thanks for putting up with TIS bouncing around the front page of the Artwork

pic. I thought it'd be fun to draw a guy for a change, since I rarely do.
I also thought it'd be fun to do a superhero'esque pic. I love the way
Lotus body and nighty came out (and YES she really is that cute). And if
you are wondering if I really look like that in real life... my honest
answer is... absolutely - except my mask is cooler. (lmao).

First off, the GF award was well-deserved. Few put in the amount of work the two of you do in your craft. Especially of late. I wholeheartedly welcome you into the family of GF-winning artists!

As for the picture, this is great work. Beyond great. The detail is astounding and the girl is just....just....well....so Lotus-y! What a babe! And a creative one at that...I'm in love, shamelessly. 😀

Keep up the great work, and remember that I always look forward to anything with your names on it. I know I'll be pleased.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer or more deserving pair, that's for sure! Congratulations to both of you! I know I've enjoyed the highly entertaining banter with yourself at the TT over this past year. A fantastic work to commemorate the event! Lotus is radiant, both with gilded golden hair and gossamer cloth, although I have my doubts about the tickling power of a solid gold feather. Then again, golden thread can be soft ... And look at you! Super Bandito ... or the Scarlet Bandito ... maybe SuperBandito ... no ... Captain Dito! 😀 Regardless of name, quite the heroic (or villainous, I suppose) figure you are! The mask especially is awesome. Fantastic job! 🙂

Your Low roads series has truly reinvented the tickling tale (and continues to do so with every episode). It is the most successful franchise in tickling history, and is something to be studied, mulled over, and thoroughly enjoyed. Your comments and support, are as well crafted in verse as they are generous in praise. You are prolific in pen and in voice, and it is certainly people, fans, and fellow artists such as yourself that inspire me onward toward new heights. I can not praise you, or thank you enough.

But I will say it one more time, none the less: "Thanks LBH".

And I fully accept my great responsibility, and yet wield it in the most cavalier fashion. I am an anti-hero at best, after all, what good does one expect from a Bandito? And yes - this pic is much more of a testament to Lotus' skillz with the palette than it is to my skillz with the pen. She has exceeded my wildest expectations, and continues to do so with each new pic.

I think she deserves something for that...

Every couple of years that one epic pair of artists comes to my attention and inspires me to try out new mediums i would have never dreamed. It was because of your bounce of aces that i got so inspired to dip into the field of writing, and so far, i love it hardcore! I thank you two for that.

About the piece. Really awesome stuff B, what makes it so much more appealing is that it's more personal because it's a representation of you two! Your muscles have muscles XD I love the really stylized ropes and that ominous facial expression . Lotus did an awesome job bringing you two out with those cool colors and the black background. Excellent job modeling the body with attention to the reflected light on the edges.
