I'm looking for y'all's thoughts on this. Tony drove injured because he had to run at least a lap to get the points for the race. The new man thinks he shouldn't have to drive if he's really hurt- it's a safety issue.

I'm not so sure myself. I think it's kinda cool to see a driver suck and drive, kinda like Cal Ripken Jr Iron Man stuff.

OTOH, he could be risking other drivers' safety as well.

i have to agree with ik. tony's smart and he knows when and when not to be in the car. after all he's a sprint car driver and he's drove more hurt than what he is. sprint car guys are tough s.o.b's

So, it seems that things are right and proper this morning in LK's (Queen of Nascar) world as Tony Stewart won the Daytona 400 last night. Pretty good race. Gordon and the 24 had a DNF, now don't gloat LK, when he got collected up in a small wreck and the 48 took out bobby Labonte, #43 Petty car, before limping on in. All in all a pretty good restrictor plate race.

I laughed out loud with mad glee when I saw the 24 being towed off the track.

The 48 had a GREAT paint scheme.

Sorry buddy. Both Jeff and Steve Latarte admit it was intentional. Jeff went further to say that Kenseth should have expected it after Bristol.

am i the only jeff Gordon fan hear? if so go ahead and beat me up! but i have great respect for them all but if jeff can't win 5 this year i would like to see mark do it. he's the only rouch driver i'd like to see win it.
