Coming from someone who unloads trucks on nights and works hardwood floors on days...I think I could use a damn toaster oven to cook some like store bought pizza from time to time.

Nah, you'll still be popular. xD In fact, if Brad is okay with it and both you and whomever you're flirting with knows that it's just random play and that you're taken, then you could probably flirt anyways. I have a tendency to flirt/flatter quite a bit on this forum which really isn't a great thing for me to do seeing as I actually have a girlfriend in my life right now.

You might not be popular if you can't flirt anymore but I might not be popular if I DO flirt anymore. xD

Of course you can still flirt. It's only an internet relationship, and God knows that most of those fail (considering the triviality of such things and the distance between Montreal and wherever you are). So I wouldn't worry too much about being popular, or about flirting, Sam. You could be Mother Teresa or the town bicycle and it probably wouldn't make much of a difference either way. But it IS nice to pretend, I guess.

"Pirate" and "privateer" are two completely different positions. They are NOT synonymous; they are mutually exclusive. Pirates are pirates because they are not sanctioned by government authority; that's the very fundamental of being a pirate, that you are NOT acting within the bounds of the law but, more often than not, are acting in a manner that puts you at odds with the law. Privateers work for the government, putting them within the realm of the law. So, please, if you're going to cyber-cosplay, research your stuff first.

Or, better yet, just don't cyber-cosplay.
