According to the book it would appear this Demon name is

PainStorm

It was summoned just for the reasons we thought the Mummy Army apparently got out of hand. It seems though THE DARK ONE left this puzzle orb lying around on purpose though I think he figured either the Mummy Army or PainStorm would destroy us. Very sneaky.
