Its a rather low level spell. To be honest I have only seen it used on objects. Anything powerful enough to cast a spell worth anything rarely bothers with curses on beings. It tends to be in the area of frauds and inept spell casters hence the reason I asked if they work.

I believe a Native American tribe put a curse on the presidency. Saying every 20 years that president would die in office. I think Regan brok that curse. There was an attempt on his life but he survived. 😀

Indeed, the men elected in 1840, 1860, 1880, 1900, 1920, 1940, and 1960 all died in office. 😱 Reagan, elected in 1980, became the first sitting President to be shot and survive.

Actually, I always loved the dialog in the movie "Back to the Future" that went like this:

Character from 1985 has used a time machine to travel back to 1955 and told a skeptical person there that he is from 30 years in the future.

Skeptic: Who's the President of the United States?

Time traveler: Ronald Reagan.

I didn't much like any of the Superman movies. I don't see them in theaters, I wait until they get to cable. 😀 😛
 
I think Army Of Darkness (the 3rd of the Evil Dead flicks) was probably the best of the three Evil Dead movies with Bruce Campbell in them. 😀 😀 😛
 
Actually I did not like the Superman movies either. Mainly cause I thought as General Zod said they were too campy.
