As usual, the marathon made my neighborhood crowded and unpleasant for half a day. Glad it's only once a year. 😀 😛

Another day sitting waiting for Volvo to open 🙁

But I did get a coat of paint on a model,and am watching a bid on E bay for an M51 Sherman tank model that's going for less than $20 so far The M51 was a heavily modified Sherman used by Israel 😀 😛

I don't mind the 50 or 100 professional runners who actually have a chance to win the race. It's the 30,000 additional amateurs who clog up the streets afterward.

Wow thats sounds like a great price on that model. I might have to check out ebay again on some stuff. 😀 😀 😛
 
The pros cross the finish line (which is just two blocks north of me and half a block east) around 12:30pm. The amateurs keep stumbling across it until late in the afternoon. Some are still out there now. 😱
