I would imagine it gets hot maybe 5 or 6 days a year up there 😛

I have heard of block heaters for cars,but not dipstick heaters Maybe the same thing? Even some northern states have places to plug in your car or truck to keep the engine block warm 😀 😛

It's the same idea. The electric heating element is in the shape of a dipstick and is inserted as one while plugged in. It keeps the oil warm and hence the engine block warm while the car is parked. 😀 😛
