There are a few junior colleges near my area. If a teaching position openned up there I might take it. It would still give me time to work on my business. Plus academic people get big discounts on 3d Software. 😛

Yes the discounts are quite large. I can get some 3000 dollar programs for like 300-600 dollars. 😀

The application process is kind of a pain here in LA for junior colleges. Have to fill out tons of paperwork. 🙁

I wouldn't be intimidated by a junior college. You have a degree in something you love. Junior colleges need teachers who are competent.
But I understand if you are just entertaining the thought, and haven't made up your mind. Sometimes I mull an idea over for a while before I decide on something.
I did that for a few months before I went back to school. Plus, it's nerve wracking the first two weeks of anything new.

Thanks Helena. 😛 I have taught some lab courses at UCLA before. The teaching market for chemists is very competitive so even junior college jobs are hard to come by.
