Sure, people have babies before 18, too. My brother was born exactly 9 months after my father got home from World War II. So in their case they had to wait to start a family until he got home (from Tokyo with General MacArthur).

Train fare is $184 round trip with advance purchase. I have to take a taxi from the train station but fortunately it is a short ride. 😀 😛

Wow that is a bit money there. Never knew Amtrak was that much. 🙂

The Acela Express has more comfortable, larger seats, electrical outlets at each seat to plug in your laptop or cellphone recharger, and it runs faster cutting half an hour off a trip that usually takes 2 hours and 40 minutes.

I've only taken the Acela Express when the university was paying for me to attend a conference in Washington. 😀 😛

I was going to take a trip this summer, but it won't be in an airplane. OMG.

Yes, I've seen some overpriced flights, too. Not flying anywhere again until 2010.

My cousin was a pilot for awhile. So we flew to a bunch of places in California. Was very nice. I like flying its very serene. 🙂

Thats why I only flew frequently while my cousin was a pilot. Much more fun to fly privately from Van Nuys Airport then from the mess at LAX. 😛

I basically took a bus to LAX every day for the last 5 years and then caught another bus from there to get to work. So while I would say it is very congested I dont think its the worse airport.

Its mainly for private planes not commercial ones so its a lot less congested. It actually is pretty nice as far as airports go. 🙂
