I've had people ask to write a story for them incorporating their plot elements. But nobody ever offered to pay me for that (a story on commission). 😀 😛

I'm not sure I would do a story on commission anyway; I'm only good at writing down my own fantasies. 😀 😛

So far, of all the books I've written, "Jennifer's Revenge" is the best seller with 65 copies sold. 😀 😛

If I can get something for free, why should I pay for it? Artists and writers need to know their worth, and what they will and will not do, and make that clear. That way there are no misunderstandings.
There's always someone who will take advantage of your talents if you let them.
Of course, working something out in trade could be arranged, I'm sure, if it pleased both parties.
 
There was one member here, now on my ignore list, who sent me three PM's. Roughly, it went like this:

1. Will you write a story for me incorporating plot elements A, B, and C?
My answer: No, I only write my own fantasies.

2. But you write good F/m stories and I want one written for me, why won't you do it?
My answer: I write stories to please myself and to sell them, that's all.

3. You are selfish and should be ashamed not to contribute to the community the way people like me do.
My answer: I've never asked anybody to write a story for me and never written one for anybody. I make no apologies.

I put him on my Ignore list after answering the third PM. Some people think authors or artists are a public utility.

Well put my friend. I met a lady on IRC who wanted a complete work of art based on her name. I told her I dont do free stuff anymore as I dont have the time. She said my pay would be the beauty of her smile as she gazes on my creation. She found her way to my ignore list as well.😛

Very true. 😛 She was the most arrogant of the ones I met. There were others though too wanted a custom pic for the website for free. LOL Yea right I want a date with Cindy Crawford too that aint gonna happen either. 😀 😛
