I like to make the point that you should carefully write down, on a separate piece of paper, exactly what you are trying to prove, especially in a proof by induction. Knowing what you're working toward will help you get there. 😀 😛

An excellent point. Is similar reasoning in planning an Organic Synthesis. You need to know how you are going to proceed before you start using a bunch different reactions.

Yea same was true for an organic synthesis I saw syntheses that took like 20 reaction that should have only taken like 5 LOL
