I'll revive a tradition I lost many moons ago and post here as I reach 9000 for the second time. Why I suddenly started caring about this tonight is beyond me. 😀

Update on Kara

(my truck)

She will not be fixed today,and this Volvo truck center is closed on the weekend 🙁 Part of the reason is my company screwed around on the turbo issue yesterday For whatever reason,the turbo is not under warranty anymore

My dispatcher was talking about getting me seated in another truck That means leaving Kara behind :dropatear I have been with her since May of 2006

They would bus me to get another truck That means I would have to leave some stuff behind,like my TV,electrical cooler,and my models I can only take so much with me on a bus Plus who knows when I will be back in this area to get the rest of my stuff

I ask because I wonder if it would be possible to ship those items home to your mom from where you are?
I don't know exactly how you would work that out before you leave, but you are very resourceful.
What if you took a train? I think there must be more storage on a train.

I read your brother's horror story about work. I'm sorry he lost his job.
What is the most awful is when the manager of a company over reacts in such a way.
I think tyrant bullies who don't like a worker will find a way to get rid of someone for ANY reason. I've seen it happen. I worked at a supermarket in high school.
