Chemists always seek additonal protection from clothing whenever possible. Acid on ones parts is not very pleasant.

I have spilt Nitric Acid on my hand and let me tell it was not fun. My hand curled up and I had to hammer it with a book just so I could use it. Eventually all the skin peeled off.

Lol. Commando style!

When I had my appendix removed over six years ago, because it had burst, I had a lot of puss and all inside me that the doc had to insert a draining tube into my lower abdomen. For awhile I had to go commando because wearing underwear with that was uncomfortable.
