I want to say it was probably more like the second week of January. Maybe even a bit later. It was unfortunate that I couldn't be there, but I got an alert from the messaging system.

Yes its a masive being. Not in the best of health though. Crystalline beings can often grow quite large depending on the quantity of minerals available. 🙂
