My father was a union man. They threw him "under the bus" twice when he needed them. He had to strike when they went on strike we lost lots of money which the raises never made up for. I really think they are going the way of te dinosaurs.

I know countless number of real "union" people that got tossed out when they really needed representation. Had to hire there own lawyers and after paying all those union dues. 🙁

There once was a major truck company called Consalidated (sp) Freight. Union company.I remember when they closed up. Union corruption of course.

It got so bad here in CA actually thats why they recalled Governor Gray Davis. Made it so you could retire at 50 with 90% of your highest salary for the rest fo your life. 😱
