I go to a local place, and with a tip I can get a wash and cut without a blow dry for $20. My hair is full of layers and I really like the way it looks.....so I splurge. LOL I'm done with school in 2 semesters, and I'll probably still spend the same as I do now when I have a nice paycheck. I've always been thrifty.

A typical haircut in Manhattan at a place staffed by hair stylists, not barbers, costs around $50. That would not include a beard trim, nor the expected tips, one the the shampoo person and one to the stylist. My barber charges only $15 for both and is happy with a $5 tip.

Two more semesters, that's great. 😀 😛

If I hadn't switched fields, I would have graduated now. I'm taking a computer class during the summer, and all BioTech classes in the fall and spring. 11 credits in the fall and 12 in the spring.
I'm really glad that I switched majors. It was completely worth it.

The three of us tend to have thrifty in common. Mils does go to certain things, and go to visit places, and they tend to be annual trips. His apartment is tiny though because it's just him. It all evens out.
I never thought I could make some of the sacrifices I've had to make financially to get through school. But I wouldn't change anything.

Oh yes. Yes. Oh yes. 2012 Spring. Not sure of the exact day. I met with my advisor to plan everything out. I already registered for all the classes I'll need in the fall. I wanted to make sure I had seats in all of them. 😀 😀

Yes, I am basically thrifty and save on low rent, but I splurge on luxuries such as seeing Goddess Shelly. :couch:
