I had a very fine sandwich for lunch today: smoked salmon on half a loaf of egg chalah bread.

You may not be familiar with that type of bread; two loaves shown below. It is yellow inside because of the eggs used to make it.

It is very good. Unfortunately it's also higher in calories than an equal weight of ordinary white bread. 🙁

I eat pita every day, usually whole wheat pita or onion pita.
I eat challah or a baguette when I am treating myself to something nicer. 😀 😛
