Its actually for 8 separate cartridges. Each one a different color. 🙂 They are high quality art inks though so they are not cheap. 😱

Chemical dyes often require multistep syntheses to make which means you gotta buy lotsa chemicals and pay lotsa chemists to make them. That gets pricey fast. 😛

Its one of my pet pieves over people who constantly whine about drugs costing so much money. It often takes a million compounds to be made before one actually makes it through all the testing and gets FDA approval.
