Yea exactly and the thing that upset me was I could not afford even to give the guy some money. 🙁

I had to post there was an old man in Vons Supermarket today that had a nervous breakdown and started crying I cant afford to buy any food. God it was so sad. 🙁 Ask him how he feels about all the hope and change.

Yea it was very upsetting. I am hearing more and more stories like this. I know its anecdotal but still as the number of stories build I think it reflects how badly things are going.

Very unfortunate. 🙁
The particular story I heard was of a retired guy in my building who had to skip his cholesterol medication (lipitor) for a month to buy food. Even the copay was too much to afford with rent and food. 🙁

I have a friend in New Mexico who had to take out a loan to buy canned food on sale cause he is afraid he wont have enough to eat. 🙁
