I got it back up and running just not sure if it was just a glitch or signs of the computer needs more attention.

Me either. I have money saved but I rather not have to spend it. 🙁 I backed up a lot of data though. 3 CDs worth. So at least I got that accomplished. 🙂

I don't have any massive files, so an 8 GB thumb drive backs up my stories and photos. 😀 😛
 
I actually got the 8 GB thumb drive for free (for attending a dull meeting run by the IT department at work). 😀 😛
