An Israeli once told me that their air force in the 1960's modified French Mirage planes so that were better than the original version used by the French air force.

They have one tough military. I have an IDF Centurion tank model,and some IDF Shermans in the stash. I will have to google to see what the mods were to the Mirage they used.
