I'm finally getting a feel for this economy.

It's so slow out there, the computer shop at the Lighthouse for the Blind is not taking volunteers. I kid you not. I applied for it. They filed it. That settles it.

What do they do with all of those computers? How should I know? They turned me down.

They took the flatscreen monitor I donated, but wouldn't take any of the desktop monsters I have lying around. To the blind, there's a difference. Who knew?

I do know that they don't make the news very often. Lighthouse must be one of the last straight-up charities in the world.

I'm really happy thinking that I'll never see Alyssa Milano showing footage of starving blind people and hitting me up for seventy cents a day at three a.m.
