You can get a new laptop for about 250 and pretty good one for about 400. Almost not work fixing anything anymore.

True. I like Windows 7 better than Windows 8. Granted Windows 8 does not do the updates so often,but it did not come with Windows Media Player.

I dont think it does. It does at least have a Start button so you can do things more like a normal desktop PC rather than a smartphone. 🙂

There is a program called for "Classic Shell" for those who dont like Windows 8 or 8.1 It makes your desktop more like a Windows XP desktop. 😀 Its a free program too.
